Friday is May 1st – May Day, known as Beltane in Gaelic and celebrated to mark the half-way point between spring and summer. Friday is also the first full moon in May. We will have a second full moon, a “blue moon”, on Sunday, May 31st.
Astrologers are concerned about the complex energy of 2026. If you are feeling a bit overwhelmed, it is reassuring to know that we are living in the midst of one-in-a lifetime cosmic astrological energy. The world is being “motivated” to change –because it is time. It may be messy. It is certainly uncomfortable.
Be assured that you are here for a reason! We are here to remember the truth – Humanity is Divine. We are potent, powerful co-creators. We are here to be a light and to recognize the light in the whole of Creation. My faith has never been stronger. Grace is present. Life is a blessing.
There is much good happening in the world. Here’s some good stuff…
I follow an independent journalist (Aaron Parnas) on Instagram and he recently commented, as he was holding his newborn daughter, that we need to believe that everything is going to be okay. This is so true, we do.
We need a vision of what we want to happen in our world. We need to see good unfolding.
I am committed to being real, present and authentic. We need to actively inhabit this world and shine our Light. We need to face the heartbreaks and challenges with unshakeable faith, love and grace. May we celebrate this gift that is life. As a tantric yogi, it is not enough to have faith, I am called to practice this faith and to recognize the divine in everything.
I am listening to a book entitled Cherished Belong by Gregory Boyle. This lovely human is touching me deeply as he fortifies my faith in humanity. His love and faith are tangible.
In VegNews, a 90-year-old plant-based pioneer named Ann Esselstyn broke the Dead Hang world record. You go girl!! As I am sharing this, I see that Ann and her daughter, Jane, have been awarded the #1 Plant-based YouTube channel. Their new book, Be a Plant-Based Women Warrior, is full of healthy recipes. They are such great examples of healthy living and healthy aging.
And of course, spring brings its own good energy. We can certainly be grateful for sunshine, rain and flowers.
It is my intention that my offering can serve to inspire and uplift.
Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Class is still happening every Friday at 10am at Sanctuary Yoga. With the arrival of May, we will align our energies with the Divine Feminine by activating our vitality and creativity with shakti-awakening practices and meditation. This will clear the cobwebs, reset the nervous system and infuse you with lots of good energy. This yoga is a healthy way to respond to the stress and overwhelm of life.
Most significantly, we will be gathering this Sunday, May 3rd from 2pm to 4pm for Wisdom Circle. Let us come together to share, meditate and be inspired. Let us lift each other and lift the world.
