We have passed the summer solstice and it is already July. Amazing.
A friend recently asked me about my understanding of GOD. In kundalini yoga, we refer to these initials as G: generating O: operating and D: disseminating. One of my favorite quotes regarding God is... "If you cannot see God in all, you cannot see God at all."
I have been an ordained interfaith minister since 1999. For me, the ordination was my promise to the Infinite to walk a path with Spirit. All my trainings, all of my meditations, all of my work is about coming Home to the Infinite.
I feel deeply connected. There are times when I step away from my I-ness and accept the (w)Holiness of Unity/Oneness. I use my ability to journey and meditate to explore the various levels of Creation. I have communicated and walked with many Souls and Luminaries across the many levels of Creation.
But I am qualified to answer the God question?
It is a deeply personal thing, this “knowing God”. I often experience the Infinite as a Luminous Light at the Highest Level of my known Heaven. This, of course, is just how my human brain tries to comprehend the Incomprehensible. I have learned to release what I know and open to new levels of perceiving. Again and again, I surrender the known. I have a working knowledge that is useful personally and professionally. However, the more I know, the more I know how little I know.
As my friend said, it is easier to know what GOD is NOT.
To truly know God, we must be willing to step away from contrived and controlling narratives that actually keep us scared and separate. On the journey home, we must be willing to release outmoded beliefs and create a space of wonder and openness. Who are we to define God with human traits and societal or religious rules. What hubris to believe that we know the will of the Infinite Creator of time, space, dimensions, millions of solar systems, galaxies, and multi-universes.
The old controlling mechanisms greatly underestimate the expansive LOVE that crosses all man-made boundaries and religions. This is what I have come to recognize as the Infinite: Grace, Compassion, Wisdom, Love Beyond (and in spite of), and Extraordinary Inclusivity.
One of my early lessons from one of my client’s Spiritual Supporter was that “God Allows”. We learn. We grow. We try again. There is no death. “Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be changed from one form to another”. This is the First Law of Thermodynamics.
We cannot be lost. We, as self-soul-spirit transform, change and evolve. Consciousness continues and its vibrational frequency unifies us with that which we are in harmony with.
This is what I will say for today, anyway!

This month in Kundalini Yoga, I will be teaching on the Chakra System utilizing postures, kriyas and meditations to support our energy system. I have been able to read the chakras for many years. Chakra work is cleansing, balancing and harmonizing. This work fundamentally supports your life- body, mind, soul and spirit.
Wisdom Circlewill meet this Sunday from 2pm to 4pm. I will share some interesting things that I am have shown in my recent meditations. These are some interesting times! We will do healing breathwork, a guided meditation and open to the wisdom of our Spiritual Supporters. You are always welcome.

The astrology is evolving too. For the month, mercury is retrograde. Pause. Renew. Jupiter, the planet of blessings, wisdom and expansion, has moved into Leo for the first time 12 years. Jupiter will oppose Pluto (transformations) this month. Expansive transformation is a possibility. Mars (aggression, action-orientated) is going to meet up with Uranus (sudden change). This creates the possibility of earthquakes. We have all witnessed that. One astrologer said that there is a year of astrology happening in the month of July.
We know that we are living in intense and fast-moving times. This is a good time to do the practices that support you. Walk. Sing. Hum. Meditate. Bless yourself, your loves, your community, and this dear world.
We all signed up for this. We can do it! Peace be the journey.
