Honoring the Season

Dear Ones

I hope that this autumn is treating you well. We have had lots of sun and the trees have been breathtaking.

In my personal life, this summer into fall has been a busy time.  Lots of family doings. My son was married earlier this month, and we had a family reunion for my brother, who is dealing with cancer.  I am grateful for the time spent with family and friends.

This time of year reminds us that nothing is permanent.  As the leaves fall from the trees, we know that change is coming.  I love this liminal time between summer and winter.  It is said that the veil is thinnest during the in-between times like dawn and dusk.

This precious life is so fleeting.  We only have the time that we have. As we approach Samhain (Halloween) and All Soul’s Day, we are reminded that this life is precious and limited.  We are given an opportunity to pause and remember those who have gone before us.

It is a great privilege to host a Wisdom Circle this Sunday, November 1st from 2pm to 4pm.  This spiritual gathering will focus on honoring our friends and family who have passed.  We will open to the spiritual support from those who guide our path and we will offer a blessing to those who have gone before us. Everyone is welcome.

This weekend also marks the beginning of the holiday season. If you have much to do, consider giving to yourself first. We fill our well so that we have more to share and more to give.

The best strategy to meet the demands of a busy life is to give more to your practice.  The more we give to our energetic and spiritual work, the more time, clarity, peace and meaning come to us. It is easy to think that we just do not have time. I can honestly say that we always get back what we put in. Always.

The meditation and movement that I share come from the time before the great flood. The teachings were oral long before they were ever written down.  Science is now discovering the wisdom held by the shamans and the yogis. This sacred path, with its spiritual insight and energetic technology, is so needed in our world.

I have spent most of my adult life clarifying and developing my spiritual and energetic abilities. I feel called to share my experience and to teach methods that empower these natural abilities in the world. The Sacred was never meant to be exclusive. The intense energy of the times is meant to up-level our energetic capabilities. If we do not work with this energy, it can stress our systems and overwhelm us. Breathwork, meditation, mantra and movement enable us to integrate and thrive with this energy.

Let’s thrive together.  I will be offering new classes and workshops in the new year.

Much love,

Robin
