Many Blessings for our journey into and through the autumn season.
We have entered the last full season of 2020. This has been an extraordinary year. It has given me pause to carefully considered what I could say that would be informative, supportive and inspirational. Words are powerful. They hold co-creative potential.
Before you speak ask yourself if what you are going to say is true, is kind, is necessary, is helpful. If the answer is no, maybe what you are about to say should be left unsaid. -Bernard Meltzer
In the end, I must honor my sacred contract with you, and with my work. As I say so often in my consultations and classes, “it is better to know” and from this insight you can choose how best to navigate the path ahead.
The astrology of the year began with a significant meeting of the powerful planets of Pluto and Saturn (and eventually Jupiter) in Capricorn. These planets will be affected in the coming weeks as Mars in retrograde activates their specific energies. Mars in retrograde – the very energy of action- will be in retrograde until November. In a year when so much of what we consider to be “normal” has been paused, Mars is asking us to carefully consider before we act. The quote about speaking is relevant to use in context to any actions that you plan to take over the next few months.
One by one, the Mars’ energy will make a challenging contact with each of the planets in Capricorn. This contact will activate the forceful aspects of each of the planets. The action-orientation of Mars in Aries will encourage each planet to ground (Capricorn) their corresponding and unique energies into our collective. Saturn, in its home sign, stands determined to maintain order. Pluto transforms without hesitation. Jupiter expands and elevates the consciousness of everything that it touches. The pressure is building as old structures fall away. The ground will be unstable. It will be months, maybe even years, before the ground is settled enough to support the foundation for a new reality. (Please understand that the astrology is not creating the changes that are upon us, the planets are just players in the field like you and I.)
From my intuitive perspective, it feels as if there is indeed a Fall that we are about to witness. We, as a collective, experiencing the pandemic, economic challenges and significant changes to our way of life, are confident that we have already experienced the Fall of what was normal. How can the last few months of 2020 affect our already altered way of life?
Trials. Tribulations. Endings. Awakenings.
2020 is the year that the blindfold, that so many of us have lived with, will be removed. Forcibly. The unrest that we are witnessing is the collective (and individual) unconscious fighting against the changes that, we all know at some level, are inevitably coming. Even so, there is and will continue to be, a fierce and defiant clinging to a vanishing reality.
In time, the restructuring of our reality will be welcomed. However, before that can happen, we must pass through a period of shifting structures and undefined realities. The more we resist, the longer the process will take. It will not be comfortable. It will be transformative.
Do not be too quick to judge others during this time. Everyone has their part to play. The energy of conflict is co-creative to the transformative process. In this case, construction is proceeded by destruction. Be aware of your true intention for that will be the instrument that guides your path. Many of the significant players in our world are merely puppets who are following the whims of their ego. This time demands our soul awareness, integrity and responsibility so that one can be in right place at the right time doing the right thing.
If you have used the challenges of your life to strengthen your resilience and expand your consciousness, then you will be able to find the clarity and purpose to envision and co-create a better tomorrow.
However, as we are so vividly witnessing, many people are woefully unprepared and deeply determined to maintain the status quo. This outlook comes from an extraordinarily limited perspective of the scope of human potential. Human evolution has been stalled far too long by forces determined to control humanity with fear, manipulation, and greed.
In these tumultuous times, we are experiencing a bottleneck effect. Humanity’s Grace is determined to emerge -even if the opportunity is limited by external forces. The pressure will build until the transformative energies, represented by people, places, events and things, are able to break through and expand into a new and higher vibrational reality. In can be compared to a baby chick that is ready to emerge from the egg. Inevitably, the chick will break through the shell and birth itself in the world.
This time of extraordinary change, and the awakening that is possible, is the very reason that you are here. This time has been foretold. It is engraved in your soul’s sacred contract and it is inscribed in the soul of the world. It is written in our newly activated DNA. We are exquisitely created Beings of Grace. We are so much more than we have been programmed to believe. We are capable of co-creating a sustainable, honorable, and beautiful world. It is time for us to recognize and respect the interconnectedness of all life on earth. It is time for us to actualize our spiritual maturity. It is time for us to step into the divine blueprint of our evolving humanity and discover our true potential.
