Begin Again

Hello.

Time moves so quickly and we are settling into the New Year.  One of my teachers, Tommy Rosen says, “Happy Here Now”.  I love that.  A question then arises, “Are you happy here now?”

The numerology and the astrology of the year tell us that this is a great time to “begin again”. During the winter into spring months, all of the planets will be in direct motion.  Every planet is a guide, and the forward movement is an encouragement and an inspiration.

What project do you need to begin, complete or launch?

I understand that we are living in challenging times.  It may be hard to get going and it is often difficult to stay the course. How do we get motivated and hold the momentum?

I know from experience that the best way to increase your energy is to engage in an energizing practice.  Yes yes, yes! I am going to talk about yoga again. How can I not?! This is a great time to embrace a yoga and/ or a meditation practice. If you are so inclined, it is also a great time to join the gym, begin a walking routine, or whatever it is that speaks to you.

On my own journey, I have found some effective practices that I wanted to share with you.

First, I really love The Five Tibetan Rites.  This is an ancient vitality practice that builds strength and stamina.  I have added a how-to under Tools on my website. If you decide to try, start small with a few repetitions and increase the repetitions as you progress. There are days when I do the entire practice and other days that I just incorporate what I need.

Another way to energize your new beginning is to select a specific mantra that supports your intention.  This active type of meditation will develop your meditative mind, build focus and discipline as it stimulates the relaxation response. Mantra Meditation offers the added benefit of activating the specific energy of the mantra. Your cells, your energy bodies, your chakras, and your whole Being will vibrate with the energy of your chosen mantra.

I have several offerings on my website under Tools that I have personally utilized in the past.  It is never the wrong time to start a new habit. A 40-day discipline is a wonderful way to energize your life in harmony with your health, happiness and p.  If you forget, just begin again.  The work is quantitative. The more you do it, the better the results.

It is important to note that the closer that we get to transforming our lives, the greater the resistance will be. Everything will seem to work against you. The more difficult a practice becomes; this is a sign that you are on path and genuinely creating positive change. You need to stay the course. Remember the saying, “Don’t quit five minutes before the miracle.”

If you have questions or challenges along the way, please email me. I have a great deal of experience with 40+ day practices.  Good Luck to you!

With lots of love and light,

Robin
